
About Us
Laborers’ Home Development Corporation (LHDC), an affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, Midwest Region, is a private, not-for-profit developer of quality, affordable housing in under-served communities. LHDC was established in 1972. They currently have 14 developments across the Midwest. These developments contain a total of 910 units with 242 units for independent senior living, 592 for families and 76 units of supportive living for seniors that need assistance.

To enhance the living standards of working families and seniors. We are committed to collaborating on the development, production, and management of low-cost affordable housing in secure and thriving communities.
